Sarah's Closet "The Neighborhood Closet" is a community resource center that brings food, clothing, household goods, and everyday essentials directly to underserved neighborhoods. Although it's called a “Closet,” the program functions as both a clothing closet and with the help with local partnerships SWF offers seasonal food pantry offering families access to free items that support daily living.
Our mobile and community-based approach allows us to reach disadvantaged areas of the county, reducing barriers and ensuring people can receive help where they live. Through this partnership, we provide:
• Fresh and shelf-stable food
• Clothing for all ages
• Household items and basic necessities
• Supportive outreach and community engagement
Sarah's closet is a pop-up shop, but you can make an appointment to come to our location if you're in need now. The goal for SC is to meet immediate needs while building trust, connection, and long-term stability within the communities we serve.

R.I.S.E Program Introduction: Your R.I.S.E. Path
Wellness is not a destination, but a journey of small, intentional steps. This worksheet will help you identify your strengths, understand your needs, and set achievable goals that align with being Resilient, Intelligent, Stronger, and Empowered.
R.I.S.E stands for Resilience, Intelligence, Stronger, and Empowerment.
This program was created to help women reclaim their power, rebuild confidence, and rise above life’s challenges especially those shaped by trauma, abuse, or self-doubt.
Over the course of 8 weeks, participants will engage in powerful sessions designed to promote healing, growth, and transformation. Through open conversations, creative expression, mindfulness, and personal development activities, each woman will be guided to rediscover her voice and inner strength.
The R.I.S.E program aims to:
-
Build resilience by learning healthy coping tools and emotional balance.
-
Encourage intelligence through self-awareness, education, and informed decision-making.
-
Strengthen confidence by "Stronger" boundaries and self-worth through community and empowerment exercises.
-
Promote empowerment by helping each woman set goals, define her future, and track her progress.
By the end of these 8 weeks, every participant will not only stand taller but feel ready to step forward refreshed, renewed, and ready to R.I.S.E.
